It’s About the Relationship – Customer Service Pointers from a Plaintiff Lawyer

Attorney David Kempston has been practicing law for 25 years. Early on in his practice he was introduced to the idea of providing clients with superior customer service. Over the years, he learned that providing excellent service means focusing on the client relationship. This focus is not limited to a legal practice, but instead has useful application to other professionals, such as insurance and financial professionals. Attorney Kempston will share his vision of how to do the ordinary tasks better than everybody else. By doing so, the customer becomes the focus – resulting in improved service. Attorney Kempston recognizes no one size fits all. Professionals differ and possess varying inherent customer service skill sets; however, regardless of the starting point – all can improve their craft if they are willing to learn how to apply principles of great customer service. Attorney Kempston will use wisdom and humor to outline 22 practical pointers for improving customer service skills. Insurance and financial professionals will profit from this thoughtful examination of a customer-centered approach to business.

Learning Objectives

  1. Importance of customer service
  2. Emphasis on customer/client relationship
  3. Review of practical tips on how to improve customer service and relationship skill, thereby resulting in improved sales and customer relationships.
